The Wireless Mouse is a straightforward, ambidextrous design with the usual left and right buttons on top, a scroll wheel with a third button and left-right tilt, and two additional buttons on the left and right sides. The rubber-coated wheel rolls freely, without providing the option of precision indexing.
The sides where you grip the mouse with your thumb and ringer are indented and covered with a dimpled rubber surface. The top of the mouse, including the buttons, are a glossy black plastic. The only surface on which the mouse failed to track was a mirror. The mouse tracked quickly and accurately, without exhibiting significant amounts of lag. The only feature we really missed was an indexed scroll wheel — the kind with detents as you roll it. The Wireless Comfort Desktop largely lives up to its promise.
If you're adamant on working on a reflective surface, look out for Logitech's Darkfield laser technology , which promises to track on almost everything including nonmirrored glass.
The mouse is also powered by two nonrechargeable AA alkaline batteries, but we take issue with the shape. While we applaud Microsoft for making the mouse comfortable for both right -and left-handed users, the uniform result is too narrow and will leave your pinky finger dangling helplessly over the edge no matter which hand you use.
There are five total buttons on the mouse itself: the two main buttons, a smooth scroll dial that doubles as a button as well, and two small buttons on either side of the device. Conveniently, the USB dongle that comes with the package can link up and control both the keyboard and mouse.
As it stands, you're really buying the package for the keyboard and not for the mouse, since aside from the BlueTrack, it has the same exactly functionality of Microsoft's Wireless Mobile Mouse , only slightly larger. Justin Yu.

What is the make and model of the computer? Did you try to check if the issue persist while using other keyboard? Cons: Practically-unusable Esc and F1, F2, etc. They are about a third of the height of a standard key, and have a fraction of the depth in key travel, so pressing them is an exercise in digging the very tip of your finger into and I do mean INTO the keyboard.
Feels like you're pressing something that shouldn't normally be pressed, like a reset button on the computer. Overall Review: As a developer, I use the Escape and F-keys regularly, and so the key size and travel issues mentioned were deal-breakers for me. Since I got the combo on sale, it was worth it to keep the set for the mouse alone, so after a week of trying to live with the keys, I boxed the keyboard and have used only the mouse since purchasing it.
Pros: Very Nice!! Comfortable and functional, Lots of nice "HotKey" options. Good weight and feel. Range is very good with very little lag if any at all. Long battery life makes this a great Keyboard for the cost. Cons: The Mouse is somewhat heavy, not as bad as a brick but it does have some heft. The keys are not as splayed out as some Ergo keyboards go, rather they oversize the center buttons to provide more space between the hands.
Overall Review: Good, rugged and the battery life make this a reasonable upgrade. Other wireless keyboards may be cheaper but this one has all the quality you need for the price! Pros: Everything about this keyboard is nice. I upgraded from the , or model or whatever. The keys are much lower in profile but not quite a laptop level. Very comfortable and smooth. I like the grip on the palm rest and the mouse feels very natural in your hand. Great upgrade for the price, think I paid the same for this one as I did the last.
Definitely recommend. Mouse also works on all kinds of surfaces which is nice because I use it in my living room on my 42" TV and the couch is just as good as a mouse pad. Even for gaming. Range is excellent. Cons: Only cons I can see is that there is no indicator for numlock, capslock, ect However there is a low battery light, which I found useless because most of the time when a keyboard needs new batteries, it just stops working.
Overall Review: Great board and mouse. Range is excellent also. Came with duracell batteries which was nice, 4 of them.
Pros: It works! It has great range. Battery life is pretty good with rechargeable batteries. I have to replace them maybe once a month.
