Open programs not showing up in dock




















For instance.. I like to have Stickies running in the background but I don't want to have it cluttering up my dock.. And on a more general note.. Does anyone else out there think that in OSX there needs to be something equivalent to the Window's yuk System tray?? I do like the dock.. Thanks, Aisha. The problem with this hack is that it puts the application into permanent background mode.. Go into settings - then system - then click on display. Is it showing just a 1, or a 1 and a 2. If the second is present, see if you can remove it. Click start, and type device manager. When they launches, look for display adapter. Expand it, and right click and update the driver. Search automatically and see if a driver update need to be installed.
