This is useful when you need a temporary message or will be away for a long period. You can choose to have the Extended Absence Greeting accept messages or simply play the greeting without the caller being able to leave a message. From the Main Menu : Press 3 1 3. Password Suppression You can disable password entry when calling Voice Messaging from your own phone. From the Main Menu : Press 3 2 2 1 If you wish to re-enable this, repeat the same step. You cannot disable password entry when calling Voice Messaging from any other phone.
Instead of leaving you a message when you are not at home, your callers can press 0 while listening to your recorded greeting to have their call transferred to you at another number.
