Now, to maximize how Task Manager displays system information, make sure the Show processes from all users is checked at the lower left corner. This will display what process are running under each user account. Also you can sort the columns by clicking on the column heading. This becomes very useful when you are monitoring and troubleshooting problems.
For example, sorting the CPU Usage column will allow you to see which process is using the most resources click to change from descending to ascending. The same can be done with other columns making it much easier to spot resource hogs. With Vista, more performance counters have been added, including seven memory counters. Adding these columns, lets you quickly identify what the process is from the Description column, the location of the process from the Image Path Name column, and the exact command used to execute and launch the process from the Command Line column.
Having this type of information at your finger tips, can quickly help identify resources bottlenecks or virus and spyware processes that may be infecting your Computer. In Windows 10's Task Manager, the Details tab provides a solid base of information about the processes currently running on your system.
